A. There is approximately 20,000 sq. ft. in the center.
Q. What space options are available for colocation?
A. MasterLink offers racks, cabinets, cages and custom

A. Yes, all equipment is located on raised flooring.

Q. Does the MasterLink facility offer video surveillance?
A. Yes, video cameras are located throughout the complex
and are monitored 24X7.
Q. What type of controlled access is used by the MasterLink

A. Access is controlled through card-keys, both into the
building and again into our data

Q. What hours is the site accessible?
A. 24X7 with a card key.
Q. Does the site have manned security?
A. Yes, our building is manned 24X7.

Q. Do separate power grids supply the center?
A. Yes, there are two separate power grids servicing our
facility.
Q. Are the power circuits dedicated, or is power based
upon usage?
A. We provided dedicated power.
Q. What is the availability for either AC or DC power?
A. AC and DC can both be allocated as needed.
Q. Is the power conditioned by UPS?
A. Each rack is supplied with its own UPS.
Q. Does the facility have a dedicated generator for redundant
power?
A. Yes, our facility has a diesel generator with a 10,000
gallon fuel tank, providing 72-hours of emergency power.

A. Both MFS and SWB are located in the building.
Q. Does the site have bandwidth redundancy?
A. Yes, our facility is connected to multiple Tier 1 providers.

A. Yes, our bandwidth is connected through both MFS and
SWB for fiber redundancy.
Q. Does your bandwidth have path redundancy?
A. Yes, our unique design and connectivity configuration
offers path redundancy as well

A. Typically roof rights can be obtained from the building
owner.

A. Yes, there are two 250 ton chillers.

Q. Do you provide managed services for your colocation
clients?
A. MasterLink can provide managed services either through
an SLA or on an as-needed basis.
Q. What type of managed services can you supply?
A. MasterLink can provide as little as rebooting your
servers all the way to becoming your virtual IT staff,
and everything in between.

BACKUP AND
STORAGE
Q. Do you have the capability of backing up servers?
A. Yes, data backup is available from several different
options including: tape backup, SAN backup at this location,
or remote SAN backup.
Q. What is the capacity of your SAN ?
A. Our SAN storage is scalable on an as-needed basis with
virtually unlimited capacity.
Q. What is the typical amount of data that your clients
back up?
A. Most clients using our SAN system have a minimum of
approximately 10GB on up.
